A powerful alternator supports the battery system, helping to ensure you can crank your engine and get back to weigh-in after a long day running onboard electronics. 

Intelligent power management

Idle charge battery-management technology automatically increases idle rpm to boost alternator output and recharge low batteries.

Performance-inspired gearcase

The 150hp Pro XS gearcase is optimised for fast hole shots, top speeds and enhanced control at a wide-open throttle. The 115hp engine can be paired with the Command Thrust (CT) gearcase. It is designed to turn a larger pop, providing greater acceleration, better handling, awesome manoeuvrability and superior control.

Tiller handle

If you run a tiller boat, you can still enjoy the speed and exhilaration of a performance-tuned Pro XS engine. The tiller handles for both the 115 and 150hp engines are available with integrated Troll Control rpm-based speed control. The Big Tiller, available for the 150hp engine, can be paired with Mercury power steering.

Transient spark technology

Transient spark technology (150hp model) electronically adjusts spark plug timing to optimise low-end power. The result is performance you can feel – greater torque, faster hole shots and sensational acceleration.
